Glasses for Kids Program

Prep to Year 3 students at participating schools can get a free vision screening with the Department of Education and Training’s Glasses for Kids program.

The program also provides follow-up eye testing and glasses, if needed.

Extra Support for Students and Teachers

NDIS Support for Vision Impairment

Your child may get support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The NDIS can help with:

  • services and support in your community, including one-off items
  • funding for supports, such as early intervention therapies, etc.
